What happens without crew
Your best people end up behind a table
It is always the same ones. The development director who knows every donor by name is refilling water. A board member is stacking chairs because they walked past and saw it needed doing.
Those are the most expensive hands in the room and they are doing the cheapest work in it.
The night runs on volunteers who were promised a seat
Volunteers are the reason most of these events happen at all. They are also the people you least want to burn out, because you need them again next year.
We would rather cover the parts nobody volunteered for and let your volunteers do the part they actually came for.
The auction is its own event
A live or silent auction has its own timeline running underneath the dinner. Items to move, bid sheets to watch, winners to find, and everything to be collected at the end while people are trying to leave.
That needs somebody whose only job it is.
What you can book
Bartenders
TABC certified. You or your caterer supply the alcohol, we run the bar.
Servers and floor staff
Passing, plated service, resets between the program and dessert, bussing, and keeping the room in shape through the speeches.
Setup and breakdown
Tables, linens, place settings and signage at the start. Strike, haul off and the venue cleared to your contract deadline at the end.
A lead on site
One person holding the run of show, the vendors and the crew, so your director is not managing staff during the ask.
What it costs, and where ten percent of it goes
Event staff, from $48 an hour per person. Strike and haul off from $500 on its own, from $350 booked with staffing. The number is agreed before the day.
The tithe
Ten percent of everything we bill goes into community work through our Stewardship Fund. Creek and park cleanups, re-entry support, meals, and pro bono work for people who cannot pay.
That is how the company is built. It is not a nonprofit rate and it is not a discount, and we would rather you hired us knowing where the money goes than because we undercut somebody.
Flowers
If there are flowers on the tables at the end of the night, we collect them and take them the next morning to elders in assisted living and memory care. No cost to anyone, and it happens whether or not it wins us the work. That is Roses for Residents.
What we will not do
We do not supply alcohol and we do not sell it.
No liquor brands, no nicotine brands, no gambling brands.
We will not take a date we cannot staff properly. A gala you cannot re-run is the wrong night to be somebody's overflow.
