We staff company holiday parties in Austin. Bartenders, servers, setup and breakdown, and a lead on site the whole night.
You tell us the date, the venue and the headcount. We show up early, run the night, and clean up after.
Book December in October
Most December dates get taken through October. That is not a sales line, it is just when the decisions get made. If you already know your date, pinning down staff now costs you nothing and takes it off the list.
We will tell you the day we are booked. If we cannot staff your date properly we will say so instead of taking it.
What usually goes wrong
The party lands on someone who already has a job
Somebody in the office gets handed the party on top of their actual work. They book a room and order food, and both of those go fine.
Then on the night they are the one carrying trays, topping up the bar and looking for more ice, while the people they were supposed to be sitting with are at a table without them.
The load in is shorter than anyone plans for
Downtown buildings, offices and libraries are the tightest. An hour before guests is common, and some venues will not let you in earlier at any price.
We brief the crew before the day so nobody is learning the timeline on site. Bar and food stations first, then tables and linens.
The end time in the contract is not the one on the invitation
It usually is not. The invitation says eleven and the contract says everything is out by eleven. The fine for running over lands on whoever signed.
We work to the contract time and we tell you at the start what that means for last call.
What you can book
Bartenders
TABC certified. You or your caterer supply the alcohol, we run the bar. Batching, pouring, ice, glassware, and keeping it clean all night.
Servers and floor staff
Passing, bussing, resets between courses, trash, and watching the room so it does not get away from you.
Setup and breakdown
Tables, chairs, linens and decor at the start. Strike, haul off and the venue cleaned to the deadline at the end.
A lead on site
One person responsible for the crew, the timeline and the vendors, so nobody from your team is managing staff at their own party.
What it costs
The number before the day
Event staff, from $48 an hour per person. We come in early for setup and stay through service. Staffed hours carry a service charge and it is shown on the estimate.
Strike, haul off and clean, from $500 on its own. Booked together with staffing, from $350.
If the job changes we tell you why before we do the work, not after.
What we will not do
We do not supply alcohol and we do not sell it. You or your caterer bring it and we staff the bar.
No liquor brands, no nicotine brands, no gambling brands. That has cost us work and it will keep costing us work.
We will not take a date we cannot staff properly.
Flowers
If there are flowers left at the end of the night, we take them the next morning to elders in assisted living and memory care. No cost to anyone. That is our Roses for Residents program and it runs whether or not it wins us the job.
