Who we are

SymbioHaven is a group of ventures operating under one name in Austin, Texas, United States. It is run by Brendon Wash, who is responsible for the content of this website.

Phone (512) 808-0153 · email catalyze@symbiohaven.com. We work on site across the Austin metro; there is no shopfront to visit, so please call or write before assuming we are somewhere.

What is on these pages, and what isn’t

We describe work we actually do. Where a page names a price, that price is what we charge, and where a page describes something as planned or in progress, it says so rather than implying it is finished.

We do not carry general liability insurance at present. If a job you are considering requires a certificate of insurance, tell us early and we will say plainly whether we can meet it rather than letting you find out late.

This is not professional advice

Some of our work helps people navigate hard systems: courts, records, identification, recovery, end-of-life arrangements. Everything written here is general information and practical help from people who have been through those systems. It is not legal advice, not medical advice, and not financial advice, and reading it does not make anyone your lawyer, your doctor, or your advisor.

For anything with a deadline or a consequence attached, talk to someone licensed to advise you. If you cannot afford that, say so, because helping people find the door is part of what we do.

In an emergency

This site is not monitored around the clock and is not a crisis service. If you or an animal are in immediate danger, call 911. For domestic violence, the National Hotline is 800-799-7233, available at any hour.

Copyright

The writing, photographs, and page designs here are ours unless credited otherwise, and the frameworks published in the papers remain ours as well.

You may quote us with attribution and a link, which is what the papers are for. Ask before republishing a page whole or using our photographs commercially, and we will usually say yes.

Mistakes

If something on this site is wrong, out of date, or reads as a promise we cannot keep, tell us and we will fix it. That request is taken seriously; a page that overstates what we can do costs more than it earns.
