Home Gym & Fitness Equipment Assembly in Austin

A fully assembled Force USA power rack and Smith machine against a white wall, barbell racked and weight plates loaded on the storage pegs, with tools still on the floor at the end of the build.

A home gym still in boxes is a promise not yet kept. Somebody decided to change something and spent real money on it, and now it is cardboard in a garage.

Last Stage Services assembles and installs fitness equipment across Austin, built by hands that have put together hundreds of them. Assembly is what stands between the money already spent and the habit it was meant to buy.

What we assemble

Power racks and squat stands. Treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and rowers. Cable machines and functional trainers. Benches, dumbbell racks, and storage. Full commercial fitness rooms for gyms, offices, apartment amenity spaces, and schools.

Force USA all in one trainers and Smith machines, CENTR functional trainers, Inspire series, Peloton, and the rest of what arrives on a pallet. If it has cables and pulleys in it, that is the work.

Built to be loaded

These machines hold your body weight, often with hundreds of pounds on top of it. Everything is leveled, torqued properly, and anchored to the wall where the manufacturer calls for it. That is the step home assembly skips most often, and it is the one that matters most.

The cardboard goes with us

A full rack arrives as a mountain of packaging. We haul it away, so the room is usable the day it is built rather than the weekend after.

Why not do it yourself, or use an app?

The manual is doable right up to the anchoring and the torque, which are the two steps that decide whether a loaded rack stays on the wall. And the assembly apps were always taking roughly a third of the job. Going direct removes the middle entirely, so you pay less and the person building it earns more.

What it costs

Assembly is $120 an hour per person, with a two-hour minimum. Cardio starts at $240, which covers a treadmill, a bike or a rower. A functional trainer or a cable machine starts at $600. A power rack, a Smith machine or an all in one trainer starts at $960, because those run six to ten hours once the cables are routed and the pulleys are aligned.

The cardboard and packaging go with us as part of that. A rack, a rower and a bike done in the same visit costs less than three separate trips, because the drive is the expensive part. Outdoors, the same crew installs gazebos, playsets and shade structures.

How to start

Send a model number or a photo of the boxes and get an honest number back, usually the same day. Need the room cleared before the equipment goes in? That is junk removal.

You pay less than the app charged, the builder earns more, the rack is anchored properly, the cardboard is gone, and ten percent cleans a local creek.
