ArchiFarm — Custom Lab, Flow Hood & Greenhouse Builds + Hands-On Cultivation Education in Austin
Clean-room, laminar flow hood, and greenhouse builds, cultivation and mycology workshops, and the spawn, cultures, kits, and substrate to grow your own food, medicine, mushrooms, and plants.
Most places sell you the finished mushroom. ArchiFarm hands you the means to grow it yourself — built with our own hands. We fabricate custom laminar flow hoods, clean-room labs, greenhouses, and hydroponic and grow shelving — for mushrooms and plants alike — at a fraction of what commercial equipment costs; we teach a genuinely regenerative way to cultivate — liquid culture and spawn in reusable Mason jars, grow-outs in reusable buckets, no single-use plastic; and we supply organic grain spawn, liquid cultures, kits, and quality substrate. Architecture and growth, literally — cultivation you own instead of rent, pointing toward a bigger blueprint we call Omega Farm. Member, National Independent Contractors Association. Part of the SymbioHaven ecosystem.

From Cultivation to Systems — One Living Logic
The lab, the inputs, and the teaching, all in one place
What began as Omega Farm grew into ArchiFarm: the same build skill, from a flow hood to a farm. We treat cultivation as infrastructure you can own: a flow hood built into your garage, spawn and cultures on your shelf, and the skills to use them well. Whether you want to grow food and medicine for yourself, set up a small lab, or learn the craft properly, ArchiFarm gives you the tools, the inputs, and the teaching in one place — and puts 10% of every job toward a local creek or park cleanup.
The Roots of ArchiFarm
ArchiFarm grows with roots and with mycelium — plants in greenhouses and hydro shelving, mushrooms in reusable vessels — and builds the structures for both. Each root below is real work happening now, with the far edge pointing toward Omega Farm.
Cultivation You Can Own, Grown Regeneratively
We don't sell dependency, and we don't grow in throwaway plastic. We teach the reusable way — mushroom tech in Mason jars and reusable buckets, plants in greenhouses and hydro shelving, grows taken through their full flushes instead of tossed after the first, and spent substrate given a second life instead of a landfill — with the supplies and skills to keep doing it yourself.
Architecture: Built by Hand
The "Archi" in ArchiFarm is literal. We build the structures for growing with our own hands — laminar flow hoods, clean labs, greenhouses, hydroponic shelving, and grow racks for mushrooms and plants alike — for homes, garages, bars, and third spaces, instead of buying massively expensive commercial equipment. Grow space shouldn't need an institution or a fortune.
Materials That Grow and Return
We're developing MycoBricks — mycelium-grown building material made to grow into structural forms and eventually return to the earth. We're also exploring pressing the single-use grow-bag plastic other farms throw away into greenhouse panels — turning the industry's waste into the structures themselves. Both are real prototyping, not off-the-shelf products yet.
The Omega Farm Horizon
The same architecture, grown to the size of a building: turning a place of death — a former slaughterhouse — into a farm of life. Moss farms as living insulation. A data center whose waste heat becomes the humidity the mushrooms breathe. Heat, moisture, and biology treated as shared resources. It's a dream with real engineering under it, and today's lab builds, supplies, and workshops are how we walk toward it.
What You Can Get From ArchiFarm Today
Practical tools for growers, venues, and builders — real and available now, honestly separated from what's still on the horizon. And if what you want to grow or build isn't listed here, ask — figuring that out with you is part of what the teaching is for.

Builds: Flow Hoods, Labs, Greenhouses & Grow Structures
The infrastructure for growing, your material, your space
Custom laminar flow hoods, clean-room labs, greenhouses, hydroponic shelving, and grow racks built by hand in PVC, EMT conduit, lumber, or powder-coated aluminum — for homes, garages, bars, third spaces, even shipping containers. A commercial flow hood runs $3,000–$10,000; we build you a real one for a fraction, sized to your space.

Workshops & Cultivation Education
Learn to grow it yourself, the reusable way
Hands-on teaching in mushroom cultivation, mycology, sterile technique, reusable growing (Mason jars, reusable buckets, full flushes), and how to set up your own lab — for individuals, co-ops, and communities. We'd rather teach you to produce than sell you a dependency.

Spawn, Cultures, Kits & Substrate
Everything you need to start growing
Organic grain spawn, liquid cultures, Mason-jar cultivation kits, and quality growing substrate — ready to plug into your own grow. Mushroom coffee and alcohol-free tinctures available as well.

Regenerative Design & Consultation
Linking farms, labs, and future builds
Guidance for people and projects connecting cultivation, lab work, and long-range regenerative design — from a first grow to early-stage community-build visions.

A short walkthrough is on the way — a flow-hood build, spawn and cultures, and a workshop in motion — so you can see the real work before you reach out.

Step Into the ArchiFarm Rootwork
ArchiFarm isn't a theory. It grows from real trays, real tools, and real builds already living inside kitchens, garages, and shared spaces — a flow hood assembled on a workbench, a jar of spawn on a shelf, a first harvest from a setup someone built with their own hands.
The idea underneath is simple and a little radical: the means to grow food, medicine, and material shouldn't belong only to institutions and corporations. They should belong to people. So we build the lab, provide the inputs, and teach the craft — and the far horizon, Omega Farm, is just this same logic grown to the size of a city block. Step into the rootwork, and grow something that returns.

Grow the Next Layer — Start With What's Real Now
The lab, the inputs, and the skill are available today
Need spawn, cultures, kits, or substrate for your own grow? ArchiFarm's inputs are ready to plug straight into your cultivation or kitchen.
Need a flow hood, clean-room, or small lab built into your home, garage, or space? We design and assemble it in your material of choice, for a fraction of commercial equipment cost.
Want to learn to cultivate, run a workshop, or explore MycoBricks and the Omega Farm vision? There's room to learn, prototype, and partner — done fairly, with 10% of every job funding a local cleanup.
Where to start:
a jar of spawn or a single workshop — no big leap required — and scale up to a full lab build when you're ready. Because here's the math: own the means and learn the skill once, and over time you grow your own food and medicine for less than buying the finished product forever, you keep a real capability, and the waste becomes the material. Same craft, better on every axis.
