What a mycelium vessel is
Mycelium is the root network fungi grow through soil. Grown into a form and dried, it's strong enough to carry weight and light enough to lift alone.
In the ground it does what it already does: it breaks down and becomes soil. Not over centuries, over a season or two, depending on your ground.
A sealed casket is designed to keep the earth out. This is designed to let it in.
It is the reason the material exists in the first place. The same organism that returns a body to soil is the one that turns a dead tree into a forest floor.
What we do
The vessel. A burial container sized to your animal.
Being there, if you want that. Some people want to do it alone in the yard. Some want somebody who isn't going to flinch. Either is normal. Say which.
The plot afterwards. If there's a spot that's gone rough, a marker sunk, grass gone, a corner nobody's been back to, that's ordinary work here, and it's part of grief outreach rather than a service line.
About the price
Tell us the size of your animal and what you want, and you get a real number before anything is agreed. Nothing is quoted while you're on the phone crying, unless you ask for it right then.
Grief support, plot cleanups, and just talking it through are free, always, and not as a lead-in to anything.
