The problem, stated plainly
Styrofoam protects something for about three days and then exists for roughly five hundred years.
Nobody chose that trade. It's just what the default is, and switching has historically meant paying more for something that protects less.
What mycelium does instead
Grown into a mould around agricultural waste, mycelium forms a rigid protective block. It absorbs shock, it's light, and it holds shape.
Then it composts. In a garden bed, in weeks. It doesn't need an industrial facility, a special bin, or a customer who reads instructions.
Who this is for
Anyone shipping something fragile who has been asked, by a customer, a buyer, or their own conscience, why it arrives wrapped in something that will outlive them.
